Apex was founded in 2022 by Adetayo Ibijemilusi
Apex Bootcamp was founded in 2022 by Adetayo Ibijemilusi, a passionate advocate for career equity in the tech space. After years of mentoring professionals and offering career advice to aspiring tech talents, Adetayo noticed a persistent and troubling pattern. Far too many individuals were struggling to grow in their careers alone. Despite completing expensive degrees or piling up certifications, they found themselves underemployed, overlooked, and unsure of the next steps. Career services, even within formal institutions, often failed to bridge the real gap between potential and opportunity.
This realization sparked the birth of Apex, a career-focused learning program designed not just to inform but to transform. Adetayo’s vision was clear. He wanted to help people move from feeling stuck and invisible to becoming visible, credible, and hirable in the tech industry. He understood from personal experience that navigating the tech world can be intimidating and isolating, especially for those without elite networks, traditional pedigrees, or the privilege of time and money.
Built on the belief that talent is universal but opportunity is not, Apex set out to remove the guesswork and offer real, practical guidance to those determined to take control of their futures. The program was crafted for busy, ambitious professionals, including those juggling full-time jobs, caregiving responsibilities, or financial pressure, who still dared to dream bigger. Apex doesn’t just hand out tips. It offers strategy, community, mentorship, and clarity, turning frustration into forward motion.
Since launching, Apex has helped hundreds of individuals, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, identify their strengths, build compelling personal brands, and unlock the confidence and credibility they need to land better jobs and earn what they deserve.
