We believe in creating pathways to success for underrepresented talent, starting with the communities that shaped us.
We believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion
We don't just talk about diversity – we live it. Our approach is simple: identify talent, provide world-class training, and create direct pathways to world-class opportunities. No matter where you start from - whether you’re part of an underrepresented community, financially strained, or intimidated by the thought of launching a new career - you have the potential to change things.
Our Story Starts at Home: From Overlooked to Empowered
As founders from West African immigrant households, we understand what it's like to be underestimated. Our families came to America with nothing, seeking opportunity. We witnessed firsthand how talent without access remains untapped.
When Tayo returned to Nigeria traveled home to Nigeria after building his career, he saw the same story everywhere: brilliant minds with no clear path forward. That moment sparked his mission to change a million lives by creating opportunities where none existed before.
This commitment led us to establish our headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, and split our team equally between the United States and Nigeria. We've invested heavily in developing the next generation of African talent, providing training, mentorship, and real career opportunities to those who otherwise wouldn't have access to elite-level instruction.
Why This Matters: The Opportunity Gap
Despite representing significant portions of the population, underrepresented communities remain severely underrepresented in high-paying tech roles. We're changing that by:
Since our first kick-off in 2020, these goals have been fundamental to our mission.
Removing Financial Barriers: Free training for qualified candidates
Providing Best-in-Class Instruction: Same quality training regardless of ability to pay
Creating Direct Pathways: Our network opens doors that traditional education cannot
Ensuring Real Outcomes: We measure success by job placements, not just completions
Building Tomorrow's Leaders: Our Impact by the Numbers
We've awarded over 100 scholarships to our comprehensive Job Search Accelerator program, providing free access to college graduates, current students, and recent graduates.
